This is DU. I’ll share my top 5 favorite fruits. Why? Because FGW’s post isn’t ready yet. But, he’ll return soon. Stay tuned
So, DU is here to grace this prompt and WP with my presence, and I will give you something extra. I will list the top 10 favorite fruits of mine (instead of 5) and I will also list their benefits.
Here we go:
#1 Favorite fruit Lychee
Number #1 has to be Lychee. Oh, I love this sweet fruit. It’s mostly available around June-July and dominates the market with its sweet taste.

It’s a bit sticky, actually a lot sticky. It’s one such fruit that you cannot carry, because 1: It’s sticky, 2: It cannot endure much heat.
Ms lychee is a good source of Vitamin C, copper, and potassium.
It aids in high cholesterol, high blood pressure, promotes liver health, and even boosts the immune system.
A few disadvantages could include: It disturbs blood sugar levels and the immune system if taken in high quantities.
#2 favorite fruit- Kiwi 🥝
Kiwi is the only fruit on my list that is not Indian. However, nowadays it’s grown in India, but that’s not on a larger scale.
I wonder why I like this strange potato looking fruit. It’s Tangy, it’s fun. However, this fruit shows luxury. Yes, that’s surprising, right? Not many people can afford it. It comes in small boxes, which have like 3-4 kiwis.

It’s not that easily available and people may not find its taste interesting. Fruits like Kiwi, dragon fruit, and avocado are not preferred by everyone because of high prices and lack of availability.
However, I like Kiwi and kept on 2nd because I enjoy this fruit a lot. It has benefits like it’s rich in vitamins B, C, E, and fibers. It supports heart health, boosts immunity, and even aids digestion.
However, overconsumption can cause potassium overload. Kiwis are high in potassium. 1-2 kiwis per day are considered safe.
Favortite fruit #3: Mango 🥭️
Mango oh sweet mango, the king of fruit, the ruler of summer. Seriously, it’s summer already and mangoes have started ruling the market. There are so many varieties. But I won’t say I like them all.

Different varieties of mangoes come from different Indian states and are available during different durations.
Can you guess which country is the largest producer of mangoes? Hint: It’s the same country that is the largest producer of Banana, guavas, papaya, sapota, amla. You are welcome world.
Different varieties taste different and I like the tangy ones. It comes around May-June.
In the comments tell me if you like mangoes and I’ll tell you my favorite variety.
Favorite fruit #4 Custard apple
At first, I was not a fan of them. I found them very weird. Like there are so many seeds and it’s hard to eat them. Then, I learned how to actually enjoy custard apple or Sita-phal, and ever since I’ve been a fan.
Same as lychee, you cannot carry custard apples everywhere. These fruits cannot endure the heat. Plus, they are messy. It’s hard to have a clean hand after eating them.

Custard apple comes with a long list of benefits. These are rich in nutrients like vitamins B6, C, and magnesium. These are good for hair health and have anti-inflammatory properties.
However, these are extremely high in sugar. So don’t go overboard just because of its sweet taste.
#5 Favorite fruit green apple 🍏
That’s right, not the red apple, which is a more famous cousin of the green apple. Some people don’t consider green apple as an apple. They consider it some variety of pear or apple that are not natural.
Green apples have a completely different taste than that of red ones. Some call them sour, and generally, people want sweet apples. That could be a reason why green apples are neglected from the market the same way I’m neglecting WordPress these days 😝

Green apples may not be popular, but they boast tons of benefits like reducing the risk of chronic diseases, improving heart health, promoting healthy skin, and supporting weight loss as greenies are low in calories and high in fiber.
Honorable mention
As mentioned at the start, DU will give something extra, I mean who is that kind these days? 😛
Here are my top 10 favorites:
-> At #6 comes the red diamond- Strawberries. Strawberry is rich in manganese, vitamin B9 (folate), and anti-oxidants. These enhance the cognitive health, skin health, etc. 🍓
Additionally, strawberries can be used to whiten the teeth.
-> Oranges comes at #7. This golden ball rules the winter. These are citric but come with tons of benefits and I am sure you know how rich they are in vitamin C.
Oranges are also a good source of water, so in winter when you don’t drink sufficient water, you can rely on oranges.
Carry them with you and these are lovely snacks. 🍊
-> At #8 is a fruit that people desire to be sweet, but eat them with rock salt. I am talking about grapes. 🍇
In grapes, I am talking about green ones. Because black tastes different. Even in green, there are various varieties. The best thing about grapes is you can’t just eat 1 and be satisfied. These come in a bunch and you can just munch.
People generally like to drink grape juice 🍾, but I am simple and prefer to eat them. Grapes come in the market in November and stay till May (talking especially about India).
-> I think it’s safe to keep the green and red globe at #9. I am talking about watermelon. 🍉
You can trust big juicy watermelons in summer for some hydration. These are mostly water, so that makes them the most hydrating fruit in summer (sorry cucumbers).
Watermelons are also a great refreshing option for ice pops, slushies, etc.
-> Last on my list is the all-season Banana. These are considered as cheap fruits in India, as these are very very very common and everyone can afford them. 🍌
Bananas are a great source of energy. If you need some quick energy, eat a banana and then you can even climb a tree. 🙊
People who are watching their weight are afraid of bananas as they are high in carbs. However, I need to research more on whether bananas are bad for people during weight loss or not. 🤔
So these were my top 10 favorite fruits.
As you may have guessed this post is written by DU and not FGW. Can you spot the difference between the 2? Because I am trying to make a noticeable difference.
I would like to hear about your top 5 favorite fruits.
Do we have any common fruit in our top 5? Tell me about it in the comments. ⬇️
Until next time, stay healthy, stay hydrated and smile. 😊
