Important news about FGW

This blog post is about important news about FGW. If you are here for health blogs, please check this.

FGW

I need to share something very important. This news is important, and I cannot delay it, and I should not hide it from the readers.

At first, I thought this is not anything major, but then I thought I need to share it, because the future of FGW depends on this.

Important news

So, I wanted to tell you that….. Ohh I am nervous, I wonder if you guys are ready to hear (read) it. It may not be significant for you guys, but it’s important.

So, I was telling that, I have completed 2 years on WP. 2 years is something huge, as I am seeing a lot of people are quitting, or they are not regular with posting. But, I stayed here and been posting regularly-smoothly- handsomely for 2 years.

important news

What changed

A lot of things have changed. For instance, there are so many people with whom I got connected with during this time, they have now stopped blogging completely. Maybe their lives got busier, or probably they are now not interested in writing anymore. But yeah, they have left WP.

I have already talked about what changed with me. I have upgraded to the business plan, and now I own the domain.

I also feel I have changed my writing style greatly. Like earlier, I was focussed more on the heavy info, Now I provide info differently. So, previously my posts were very messy, but now I feel they are more presentable.

I am also posting less as compare to what I used to do 2 years ago. Like, back then, I used to share 8-10 blog posts a month, but now I am more focussed on the quality and I prefer sharing 4-5 blog post at max.

However, it’s still very time-consuming to create a post, I feel I haven’t compromised with the quality. I always leave the scope of addition, and I know I can always write on the same topic with entirely different info.

Those who’ve helped

During these 2 years, a lot of people come and go, but they have helped me in a way. I am thankful to them. I am afraid that I cannot say names, but if we ever interacted, I want to thank you. I appreciate your support and interest in my blogs.

I strictly follow only those who care about their own work. Who loves to read and interact with others work and those who are not random liker. You know my follow-back means nothing, but if you want others to follow you, never ever random like their posts and show your genuine interest.

I also want to thank those who have written guest blogs for me. I made sure to not edit their work, and I thank you for writing for FGW. I am open to more guest blog requests.

What’s next for FGW

I want to focus further on providing quality content. I am blogging less, but my main focus is on the quality. I feel, I am a bit different from regular health blogger, as I don’t randomly copy content from the internet, I make it more reader friendly. I want to become a fine blogger.

I have many topics planned. I read a lot of stuff and keep getting ideas through them. So, if you are subscribed, you will read more from me.

What readers want to read

I want to give the readers a power to decide what they want to read. I am thinking of a poll. For that, you need to view this post on my website . This feature will not work on reader.

You can choose only one option, I mean that’s how poll works, but this is for the site viewing. This feature won’t work on reader (most of the things doesn’t work on reader anyway).

I guess that’s it for now.

I am working on something and it will take some time.

But till then remember to smile.

  1. Congratulations! 2 years is a big achievement! Quality is always better over quantity so I’m happy you found a way to post less so that you could publish posts you seem more proud of. I’m looking forward to continue to follow you on your blogging journey 😊

  2. Wow, happy blogiversary!! Two years already, time sure does fly. I took the poll, by the way. Congratulations on your achievements so far and I wish you many more. It’s better to write less blogs that are high quality than lots of posts which are low quality.

    • Well thanks PG!!

I really want to thank you
I call you my favorite blogger all the time, but I’ll tell you what it means.

When I first read your work, I was very confused. I was like what’s going, what she writes about, what is this six word stories. Haha, not roasting you sorry 😛
      Then,
I read your comments, I was awestruck. You are so amazing with the interaction.

I texted you on IG, because I needed some guidance. I was nervous, I felt a blogger of your level, won’t care to reply. You did reply within a day, you answered all the questions patiently to a complete stranger. You were very helpful (and still are).

Then I followed you work and started reading them. I felt it helped me a lot. Your work motivated me. I’ve learned a lot from you, even without you telling me.

I’ve learned the true essence of the blogging. Which, I believe cannot be learn from anyone else. For me, you are the introduction to blogging and wordpress and I feel very satisfied reading your work always.

You do so many things, it’s like following 6 bloggers at once. At first, I tried to copy your style. But, I found my own voice apparantly.

I did some experiments, because I read your work and you always provided something fresh.

Even after 2 years, I’m not bored while reading your work. Your blogs are the first thing I read in the morning and I learn from them till this date.

People may say I’m cajoling, but I respect you a lot, and this is why I discuss things with you before trying anything major.

Thanks for making these 2 years smooth dear friend and lost sibling. Hope to meet you some day. 🤗🙇🏻‍♂️🌟

      • Wow, I’m so touched. We always have people reading our blog but it means so much to know I’ve inspired a fellow blogger. And I’m glad you found your own voice by reading my posts. I think it takes a while but once we get a hang of blogging we figure out our place in the blogging world. I’m happy to help fellow bloggers as I have been through so much with WordPress and have learnt so much along the way. Here’s to many more years of blogging 😊🥂

  3. Happy two years and congrats on sticking with a blogging schedule! I’m blogging less now because of a very heavy work schedule. Like you, I want to focus on content, but it’s hard to find the time. I would like to write more posts about technology, writing, and managing a business (blogging about work) though finding the time to write those longer posts is getting more difficult!

    • And I felt you are posting more than before, haha

If you want to write and share longer posts. I suggest you to work day by day, little by little on them

In the meanwhile, share something short. That will keep your blogs running and you will be able to focus on other things

  4. wow… congratulations 🎉🎉
    happy two years, Devang.
your content is already of a great quality and the time and effort invested also appreciated by us who read. 👌
    a grand well done🎉✨🤍

  5. Congratulations Devang… or should I be saying FGW 🤔
Congratulations to you both. 2 years is a big achievement. Very well done 🎉🎊🎆

Figured out how to access your poll and managed to figure it out – and made my selection. I wanted to pick them all, so it was tough

  6. Congratulations for the Two Years Blogoversery, Devang!🎉🎉
The FGW has become my favourite blog.
The Health content you provide is helpful in the real life.

  7. Congrats on your 2 year blogversary! What a lovely span to look back on and see how you’ve grown and the connections you’ve made through the years. We probably would have never met in real life, however here we can continue to support and encourage each other from different time zones! I chose one option for the poll since that’s all I was allowed, but the only option I would not have chosen was the medical. I look forward to reading and learning more from you! 💞💞💞

  8. Many congratulations DU. You have come a long way. Blogging is definitely a great learning process. And when you are writing about physical or mental health, you have to be very careful about providing authentic and scientific research-based content. As a fitness blogger, you are clarifying myths from facts and therefore improving people’s lives.
I hope you and your blog continue to grow and become successful. All the best. 👍

  9. Congratulations, Devang! Happy blogiversary! Wish you all the best! Looking forward to your quality posts in future as well.

  10. Devang, congratulations on your 2 year blogging anniversary!! You are a fun and personable blogger and your quality content is very helpful. I’ve applied walking after dinner into my lifestyle…I wish it were more consistent, but walking in general for exercise if definitely part of my day now. Thank you for your helpful tips.
    Keep doing what you’re doing!!

    • You just need balance. With the help of tracker you can set a goal of daily steps.

You don’t need anything else if you can do that.

Sending my best wishes to you E

  11. Whoooo hoo!!! Congratulations to bang! So excited for you! You’re a wonderful support and contributor always providing the best information possible. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.💕🙌

  12. Hi, Devang. Firstly, huge congratulations on your two-year anniversary with WordPress. That really is a great achievement 🎉✨🎊. I really do like your new style of blogging – as they say, less is more, and the fact that you are writing less often doesn’t matter because it means you are able to write with the usual high standard. I think blogging is more about quality than quantity. I love the way you use infographics in your posts – they make everything easier to understand and are lovely and clear. All the information I’ve ever read in your posts has been useful and I’ve been able to relate very much of it to my life. Thank you, too, for taking my disability into account in our conversations in the comments. It makes me feel included and that I can truly relate to what you write. I have made several changes to my lifestyle since coming across your brilliant blog. Only today, I tired a herbal tea with turmeric in it, as you suggested. It was actually a lot nicer than I expected it to be, and I’m sure it will do me good. I will be having it again. Thanks again, dear friend, for doing a wonderful job with your blog and I wish you much continuing success ~ Ellie.

P.S. For some reason, I have been unable to ‘like’ your post or any of your comments (I always read every comment and your replies to them). My screen just says, ‘loading’. I’ve tried refreshing the page but it doesn’t make any difference, so rest assured that I DO like this post 😊.

  13. Congratulations Devang. 🎉🎂⭐️

I’m so happy for you like all of your great good fans. I’m a fan of your writing. Many times I read your blog and I wonder, ‘How does Devang make it so easy for all of us?’ Reading your blogs feels like, ‘Oh! This is so easy. We can do this.’

Yes, you’re right when you say,
“make it more reader friendly. I want to become a fine blogger.”

    You’re a differently, handsomely a fine blogger.

    Keep it up dear!
And keep smiling always like Hashikhushi
    🎉🤲♥️

  14. Congratulations D!
You put out superb information, and I love that you continue to grow! It is so true that there are many bloggers that come and go, which is understandable because I don’t think anyone has an idea of how much work it takes until you actually do this.
While I miss them, I always love seeing faces that stick and meeting new ones. You put out quality work and it shows💕
