The 100th Blog

So WP wants me to share 5 things I am good at. I don’t know about 5 things, but one thing I definitely know is that I am good at blogging.

Hey, at least now I can say that I am good at blogging after 1.5 years and 100 blogs.

Yes, 100 blogs!! Can you believe that? For many of you, 100 blogs is a small thing. I mean, I know many people who post random stuff here, and they might have reached 100 blogs easily. But, for me, it wasn’t easy.

It was very hard because I need to do a lot of research, then image making and then writing those things in my own words. I wanted to enjoy and live every blog of mine. I wanted to give readers an amazing experience, and I hope I am somewhat successful in that.

I feel there’s nothing better than the comments of the readers. I do wait for the comments from people. I think there’s nothing wrong with expecting some comments. Tell me, why do you blog? So that people can read it, right? I mean if you didn’t want readers to read it, you would never have published it publically. So expecting comments is not bad. Comments tell what the readers feel about your blog, and it gives you a scope for improvement.

Believe it or not, blogging is a 2-way street. If you devote your time to someone’s work, they will in return show you love. You can never become a blogger without the support of others. If I say, I worked hard on these blogs, and it was all my hard work, then I would be wrong. I reached 100 blogs just because of constant support from the readers.

With time, many of my regular readers have got busy with their lives. Surprisingly, when I started this blog, I never thought I will find many wonderful female readers. My youngest reader and supporter are 11 years old and my oldest is 70 (I think). Many of my younger readers are now busy with their schools/colleges, but I love it when they appear from time to time. When I interact with young readers, I feel energetic, because they are so random and hyper-excited all the time. With older readers, I feel wiser, because they teach me something new every time.

But, I wonder how Fat Guy Workout attracted the female audience. Because my main intention with this blog was more workout blogs and occasional health blogs, Now I do the opposite and sometimes do experiments. Still, I have more female readers than male readers.

Well anyway, I would continue writing and experimenting with my blogs.

Most importantly, I wanted to thank the wonderful community members. I wish to take the names of those who always supported me. But, understand one thing if I ever interacted with you regularly on your blogs, that means I love your work and I thank you for all the support you have given me.

This got a bit lengthy, but well, the next blog will be much lengthier. I think I’ve said everything I wanted to say in this blog. I might take a break for a while, but I’ll be around.

Drop comments below if you enjoy blogging like I do.

  1. Congratulations Devang. I started reading your blog because of the sincere passion that you have in your writing as well as your health tips. I hope that you enjoy your time off and have a blessed season.

  2. A big congratulations to you, Devang🥳
I am glad you started this blog and i got to know you as a blogger and as a person too. (You are amazing both ways). Your blogs have always been helpful for me.
I wish you all the success and cheers to many more streaks!!
    😊✨✨

  3. Congratulations, Devang on 100 posts! I think you have many female followers because you are a good communicator. Maybe the men readers out there can show they care about fitness as much as the women by following your excellent blog! 😉

  4. Congratulations Devang…It’s really nice to read your posts. To be frankly speaking, at initial I thought like you’re simply leaving some comments in the comment box but gradually I understand that how sincere you’re in blogging, you always like to read the write-ups of others and encouraged a lot. And also you are seriously into writings that helps the readers much.

Coming to my answer, I love blogging since I love to share my thoughts and read others thoughts too.

    • Thanks!
Actually when I like someone’s work, I drop comment for positive interaction. However, if I don’t get similar energy from the person, I stop commenting or do it less.
There are some sites that appreciate my lengthy comments and now they’ve become great friends. This is how this community work. We cannot thrive without others contribution.
      Keep sharing

      • Yes Devang! That what I mentioned like ” To be frankly”. To get a positive interaction from both sides are not easy. Like same, in this world people are mixed with positives and negatives, but here I found some useful works going on seriously. That’s the main reason for me to get attracted in blogging.

      • This blogging community is amazing!
I’ve made many good friends here.
So far 90% of the time I get positive interaction. As I say, blogging is 2 way street. We need to show others our interest in order to recieve their appreciation.

      • I’m doing good and busy. It’s time for the youth festivals and I’m excited. How’re you doing? How’s everything?

      • Well for starters, we’ve tons of competitions for different sections in the college. There’s Soap Art, Petri Art, Rangoli making, Dance, Singing, Gaming, Mehendi Art, Chess, Fashion show, Treasure Hunt and more. I’ve participated in Chess and Treasure Hunt. Besides, we’re gearing up for Annual Day so there are audition rounds going on for Singing, Dancing, Instrumental, and Anchoring. I’m trying my best to get into anchoring! Wish me luck 😉

      • I definitely will! Although there’s so much going on, I’m sure I’m going to be burnt out by the New Year. And thanks for the compliment! How has this year been for you by the way?

  5. Congrats on your 100th post! I started reading your site because you came to mine and have been very engaging from the start. I appreciate that, and you’re nice, too. 🙂

As for why I write on WP it’s literally a form of therapy for me, but I don’t consider myself a “blogger” though because then I’d start obsessing over seo, views, etc and that’s not what I’m here for. If someone comments and likes, great. If not, then oh well. Life goes on.

But I understand those tools help to expand your reach and get more eyes to your content. Other than that, I post here to get it out of my system and help improve my craft as I work on my other writing projects outside of WP. Also, it’s nice to have a digital collection of my written work available to look back on.

    • I got curious about your work due to name of your site. It is very intriguing.
When I first read your work, I didn’t understand what’s going on. Misa was at pool, grim was watching, I was like what is happening? Then I got help from you and I read the story and got invested in it completely 😛.
Your work is very different from any other poet/writer over here. I adore your work, because it’s unique and you always come with different flavour.
      .
I will also say, I respect and enjoy this friendship. I’ve learnt a lot from you and your support always helped me to write further.
      .
It’s good to have a digital collection and your collection is the best one. Keep sharing hurricane slayer. 👻🙋🏻‍♀️🦴🦴

  6. Very many congratulations on your 100th blog post, Devang. That’s quite an achievement in a relatively short time. I think I found your blog because you left me a comment on one of my posts, and you were so kind and genuine, so I thought I’d pop over to you to see what you wrote about. I’ve always found your posts very enjoyable and informative. I know you put a lot of work into what you write about. It’s helped me a great deal over the time that I’ve known you.

Apart from writing great posts, I’ve kept reading and following you because you’re a genuinely lovely guy who is thoughtful and sensitive, and I think those qualities are important. I appreciate every comment you have given me on my blog, and I like that you always reply to comments that other writers leave you. You have a lot of readers who really like you as both a blogger and a friend, which is how I feel about you, too. Plus, you don’t mind that I leave you long comments and replies as I put a lot of thought into my words.

Why do I blog? It helps me to get my problems and thoughts off of my chest. It helps me to process what I’m dealing with. But, mostly, I love the WP community and how we are all so supportive of each other. WP is an excellent place for making lovely friends. Keep writing, my friend, but do take breaks when you need to. X

    • Ahhh, you are making me blush with this sweet comment. I love longer comments, it tells the reader’s involvement and emotions. I learned dropping longer comments from you.
When I first read your comment somewhere, I was like wow, this person has written a mini blog in the comment. I really love the idea of expressing what we feel about the blog properly.
      .
This community is the best, people are very kind, and I enjoy writing here. I think, blogging is helping you a lot. I want you to continue doing it. I know, it’s not easy to write about what’s going on, but writing and sharing is an escape. I want you to keep doing it, one day you will find the sunshine.
      Take care
