Your feelings matter #11

If you are following my blogs for at least 10 months, you now know what this blog is about.

This blog is about you, the readers who are reading it with 2 eyes (or 4 eyes if you have glasses like me).

As always I will ask you a few questions, you will answer them and the best comment will get an opportunity to write a blog post for me, JK (I’m not).

A few weeks ago my favorite blogger (LFW) shared a poem (which I absolutely adored), in which she raised an important issue of feeling of being trapped.

I was amazed at how people responded to it and were sharing their struggles.

I realized we all are facing something, and something or the other is bothering us.

Now,

I cannot ease that pain, or I cannot just make that problem disappear, but I can certainly give you my undivided attention if you want to talk about anything.

So, feel free to answer these:

How are you feeling?

or

How is your mental health?

Or

Would you like to share anything?

Or

How was your month?

Anyone can answer these. Please don’t let any emotions be inside you.

Before I end this blog, I want to mention that a very dear friend+sister+ part-time magician is missing from the action for the last 15 days. She used to post every Sunday, but now she is not doing it.

Vidah is the only person who’s all blogs are read (and spammed) by me. I would like all of you to encourage her to write again.

      • Dang, why not?😂😂 I’m just okay. I’m just chilling fortunately. 😎 Best thing about not being in class means that I have different responsibilities that don’t make me feel like I’m wasting my time.

        That’s good… I’m glad to see you back. Loving the art, and now you are breaking blogs in 2 parts interesting 😎

      • The posts give an option. If you don’t want to read the second part, you don’t have to. You can only read the first page and the art. I do not want to post multiple times a day because people hate that so it’s one blog with an extra part if someone wants to read it.🤷🏾

      • You are indirectly telling people to not read part 2nd.

        You are telling them, it’s not important. It’s devaluing your work. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      • That’s too bad.

        I wanted to write it, if they choose not to read it, it gives them an option to have a page they can ignore, instead of just adding a long post that requires scrolling and they get unfocused and ignore it anyway.

        Some of my stuff is more important than others to a lot of people. Showing my art is like a white space for some people who don’t want to read, what is, a block of text.

      • Yeah, but I don’t want to have multiple notifications or not see one because WordPress acts up. That annoys people. As well, the story with Nashali isn’t short and cannot be shortened.

        They also have no correlation to each other.

      • Stop caring about what people thinks then…..

        Simply, do it for yourself and do it because you love it.

        Those people who cares about you and your work will stick to you. This will help you identify your tribe.

        Trust me there are vast diversity of groups here. There are poets, blogger, health writer, people with art and creativity.

        I understand your point, but indirectly you are telling people to skip part 2 as it’s of no importance.

        Trust me every work is important, because you invested your time and energy to it.

        If certain people are not reading or appreciating your work, than that’s their problem. You keep sharing what you enjoy, in the way you enjoy.

        I don’t mind 2posts from you, because you always bring positive energy with you, so yeah double the benefit.

  2. I could be better. I am extremely exhausted, didn’t get enough sleep last night and my cat is sick. in other news, I am about to start a side hustle and am super excited about it. It’s been giving me a reason to get out of bed in the morning, so at least there’s that.

      • Thank you. I’ve had people tell me not to start a side hustle because there’s so much competition out there already, but that makes me want to start one even more. If I taught myself anything over the years, it’s that I have the stamina to stick something out as long as it keeps my interest.

        Thank you – I am extremely tired right now and hoping to sleep better tonight. The cat is still sick so he’s allowed upstairs. He’s not eating at all.

  4. So glad that poem resonated with you 😊 Feeling trapped is something we all experience at some poems or the other.
    My mental health and month have been a bit of a rollercoaster lol.

      We all feel trapped at some point and your poem expressed that beautifully.
      It also initiated the conversation, as people found it relatable (me included).

      You please take care of mental health. Get down of that roller coaster, will make you dizzy 😵.

  7. I am feeling better and trying to write (again), i am facing time limitations and hence i am left with no energy to do something that i really want to yes i am trying.

  8. I am feeling a bit overwhelmed this month. Lots of adult decisions to take that’s not going to resolve as soon as I like.
    My dear 7 year old nephew loves running with no patience to do stretching with me.

      Running is fun right? I used to enjoy it at the ground. Now my overall workout is too much, so I avoid it now.

  9. Hello Devang. I hope that you have been doing better lately. I’ve been good and have some down time again to write more and read more. I know that we all struggle with something so it is good to reach out and let others know that they aren’t alone. I don’t believe that I have read anything from “V” but I sure would like too. Where are you “V”?

  10. Hi Devang,
    My mental and physical health is good.
    I’m able to manage my stress and overwhelming reactions.
    Last week, I visited my hometown, and met my family…their genuine love, support and encouragement… strengthens me.
    During the exam, I remained calm, determined and focused.
    And I was able to give my best.
    Am I getting selected? That’s a different question.
    I’m waiting for the release of official results.
    From 2nd to 18th June vacations have been declared.
    I have to give another between these days (exam date will be declared soon).
    After 28th May paper, I’m giving enough time and space to evaluate my performance.
    I’m noting some points: 1) things which worked, 2) things which didn’t work, and 3) my needs etc.
    I’m enough occupied…with work…. with thoughts. Can’t write and focus on blogging right now.
    Yes, I’m reading some relevant/interest blogs. But not many.
    My interests in the Civil Service Exam and the critical circumstances ‘demands more from me’.
    And I have no reason to avoid that.
    I might prefer blogging ‘once a week’.
    Overall I’m fine, happy and excited.
    I want to thank you for introducing blog post of this kind, where we readers are able to share our story, on some relevant points.
    Take care of your health.
    I appreciate your efforts.
    Your Communication skills have certainly helped you to win the trust of your readers, and help them to improve their lives.
    I wish for the peace, happiness, prosperity and development of the World.

  12. I guess, once again, I’m the last person to read this 😅 (I mean, the last one among your regular readers, I hope more people read it)

    After a long time, I’m finally at relief and happy as well. Though I still have to figure out a lot of important stuff, I’m just not under that torturing pressure (if that’s a word, lol!) 😌✨️
