Hey, Yesterday was world Health day (7th April). FGW can’t stay back from sharing a post. Interestingly, I have nothing researched, so I’ll rather try something very different this time.

I am about to share some healthy reminders for you and you can just follow them or adopt them in your life, as quickly as this post is about to end.

Here they are:

-> Eat fresh and home-cooked food more often. Avoid Ultra-processed foods.

-> Include complex carbs, proteins and fibers in your diet.

-> Eat right, not less.

-> Make sure to move daily. It could be 10 mins morning walk. 10 mins walk is better than no walk. If you can’t move fast, then move slow, but go for it.

-> Prioritize in what’s important. Make a daily to-do list.

-> Prioritize yourself. Invest in me-time. You are the main character of your own story. You are special.

->  It’s okay to say No. It’s not a crime. Do what’s best for you.

-> You can’t make everyone happy. Not everyone deserves you. Remember that.

-> Stretch daily. Especially a morning stretch feels so good.

-> Sleep and wake up at the same time daily. Avoid bright screen before bed.

-> Take frequent breaks if you have a sitting job. You can even walk around.

-> Hydrate!! Drink 2-4 liters or 8 glasses of water. Packed juices and energy drinks are a no-no.

-> Don’t skip the breakfast. Most important meal of the day.

-> Don’t stress. Stress harms physical and emotional health. Remember, good times ahead.

-> Visit doctor regularly. It’s important to stay updated about your health.

-> Smile ☺️, because you matter the most. However, it is okay to cry sometimes.

And that’s it

Feel free to add your suggestion.

Follow these things on other days as well and not just on the world health day.

Your health is your right.

  1. Yes, invest in ‘Me Time’ and go to a movie theatre alone and watch a movie. Do not eat popcorn and coffee there. Just plain water.

Love all the suggestions given here for celebrating
    World Health Day

    ✨✨

    1. That’s what a certain person did.

He had 2 glass of water
      He was happy.

Pro tip- drink water while sitting( and not standing)

      1. Yes, we do follow drinking water sitting down ….

        That certain person is intelligent!

      2. Yes… I’m good. Doctor removed my bandages from my finger …
It’ll take some more time for proper recovery and healing
So that I can punch 🤛 properly again 😀

        Where’s that exclusive pic?

      3. Go and see yourself .

        Good thing

Don’t go on punching rampage 👊🏻👊🏻

      4. Where will I go to see the exclusive pic?

Ha ha. No no. No punching any more!

      5. You can find that pic if you know where to see

      6. Is it a kind of a maze?

      7. No

        It’s kind of basis thing

Whose pic is available on status?
        Whose status? Where’s that status?

  2. Great points especially “Eat right, not less.” People starve themselves to lose weight but that does so much harm to your body. All you have to do is eat less calories and eat a specific diet that will help you lose weight. And of course, be active.

    1. I know a certain blogger who eats very less.

      Her diet surprises me 🤷🏻‍♂️

I received this tip as a comment by a top nutritionist on my LinkedIn post.
I thought I should include it

Starving is not the solution. People consider food as villain.

      1. Lol, as long as you eat till your full even small portions are okay 😅

Yeah, it’s a great tip. People definitely see food as the villain when in reality food is a necessity. It’s just about what you eat.

  3. I agree that drinking a lot of water and staying hydrated is important!

    1. Yeah!!

      Removes all the toxins

      And improve activity level

  4. “Eat right, not less.” – Like that! They are all helpful and easily implemented. Thank you, Dr. DevU. 🍎

    1. Thanks for reading and appreciating Mlee

  5. Perfect recipe for taking care of yourself, thank you 💞💞💞

    1. Thanks for reading Dw

  6. Great advice, Devang. I especially like, “Prioritize yourself. Invest in me-time. You are the main character of your own story. “

    1. Hmmmm

You are main character of many stories that’s what I know 😛
Because you are a lovely soul.

      How are you RebC?

Don’t be shy to reply to that

And don’t give any confusing response

      1. Well, I begin my rewrite on my memoir later this month, so excited to work on that, as the main character. ; ) I am feeling much better. I am fueling my recovery with good food and rest. My exercise regimen began again today with my stretches, and an hour in the garden. Is that a confusing response?

      2. No that’s not a confusing response.

You generally do poetic response on fake flamenco 🫣

I’m happy that you are recovering well dear

        Remember to hydrate well.
Eat antioxidants and anti inflammatory rich food.

      3. Poetic is my style.. Yes, I am craving fruit. I think I’ll make a smoothie today with lunch.

  7. I echo your great advice D!
i could copy and paste all of this!!
    👏👏
