Introduction

If you are on this post, that means you are eager to know about me. As you may know by now, my name is Devang Upadhyaya, and I am from Udaipur, India. I have done engineering in electrical(with not so good marks), but engineering has nothing to do with why I’m writing health blogs. Well, Health or health topics are something that always fascinates me, I always have that alacrity to know what and how natural things can help me and people around me. I also enjoy reading articles to know what food is helpful to me and people around me(sorry for being selfish).

I recently did an online course from Stanford University about “Introduction to food and health” (Check it out on Coursera), and that made me much more interested about this topic. I felt like I know certain stuff, so I should share it with others.

About Fitness

I first went to gym in 2016, at that time I knew nothing about any exercises or how to lose weight, at that time I was 107 kgs (that’s lot, I Know) . I trained under certified trainer and found that losing weight is pretty easy if I was able to follow certain routine and doing that helped me lose 24 kgs in 4 months. I felt confident that I am much more capable. I am not trying to say I was incapable before, but after losing 24kgs , I felt light and flexible, as If I was able to do more.

So I started discovering more exercises that can be done. Because, I feel like workout should always be something easy to execute and fun. Just think, if you are doing certain exercise and you are not enjoying it, will you be able to convince yourself to do it regularly? It happens with me every time, if I get bored with certain exercise, I try to find some other alternative.

But why blog writing?

I have so many thoughts in my mind, and I wanted it to share with others. I have learned certain stuff and I wanted to share that with every one. I want to provide people something which they can do easily. As I don’t like much technicality, I wont try to sell anything that I don’t relate with. Writing blogs is an easy medium to connect with people, to share exact experience what I feel. I want to provide credible information, which people can accept, I want to provide them a sense of trust. That is what Fat Guy Workout (catchy name isn’t it? ) is all about, its something with which people can relate.

So what’s next?

What’s next is; we will discuss about workout that can be done easily at home, Food we can easily find near us and stuff we can easily follow to stay healthy, not just externally but internally as well. So stay tuned and stay happy.
