Hey, I hope you guys are still here
I still have to talk about 2 more important nutrients from our Nutrients series.
As you can see from the title and that huge image above, this blog is about Vitamins.
Well, Vitamins are Micronutrients. These are needed in small quantities (just like minerals) and these are essential for various functions, which you will learn through this blog.
I know, you never asked why this blog got delayed. But, still, I have the itch to tell you that, I wanted this blog to be different, and I tried to keep all the blogs of the series different from each other. So, to give you something different, I made something that I’m sure you will love (even if you don’t can you please pretend?).
Coming back to Vitamins (Guys you distract me a lot). Vitamins are classified into 2 categories.
Fat-soluble- Vitamins that dissolve in Fats and oil.
And Water-Soluble- Vitamins that dissolve in water.
Now, I have already talked about the importance of Fats and Water, and if for some reason you haven’t read them yet, well-read them first (I’ll share links below).
Okay, check this out to know more about Fat-soluble vitamins (Now is the time to adjust the screen brightness of your device). ⇉

There are 2 more brothers of vitamin D, D2, and D3. Let’s discuss them in the future because I don’t want to complicate things right now.
Water-soluble Vitamins are majorly dominated by types of vitamin B. Scientists went berserk while naming these. Don’t panic, I got you covered. Let’s quickly learn their functions ⇉

And some more…..

Vitamin B7 is also called vitamin H
The reason why I am not mentioning the recommended quantity of vitamins you need per day is because, it will be too much information. However, feel free to ask in the comments.

And finally, how can we forget vitamin C ⇉

There’s another Vitamin, vitamin P. These are anti-oxidants called flavonoids. These have anti-inflammatory properties.
I know you are curious about if you are deficient in any vitamin or not. Don’t worry, get your blood tested and you will get the answers. If you are eating a healthy diet that includes Green veggies, fresh fruits, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, then you need not to worry about taking any supplements.
It is believed that eating meat, eggs, and fish is the only way to get certain vitamins, but I hope I am clear enough that vitamins can be obtained easily from fruits and veggies. Two of my favorite bloggers are vegan and last time I checked they are not deficient on any vitamins.
Again FGW
That’s pretty much it for this blog. Drop comments if you learned something new today, if you didn’t drop a Hi simply.
We will meet on the final blog of this series and till then Keep shining.
