Is it possible to eat whatever you like and still be in a good shape? Is it possible to have an enjoyable diet that can give you the desired results? Is it possible to have a clean diet which is easy to follow? Well, let’s find out the answers to these questions.
Let me tell you something honestly. If you want the desired physique, you need to move in a certain direction. But, not just that, if you want to live healthy, with full energy. You need to follow a certain diet for that. No, I am not trying to sell you any diet here. I don’t do that here (or anywhere ), and you know that by now. What I am trying to do is, share an approach that can help you get the results you always wanted. This approach is reliable, and I am certain that it will work for everyone.
Let’s not waste any more time on the intro as no one reads it anyway.

The first thing in the approach is Eating at the right time. It is believed that, if you eat your meals at the appropriate times and within a proper gap, it will give you the best results. For this, you need to have at least 4-5 meals throughout the day, at similar times daily. Suppose you are having your breakfast at 8:30 am, then you can have your lunch at around 12:30-1 pm. Have some snacks around 3:30 pm and another at around 6 pm. You can have your dinner between 8-8:30 pm(9 pm max).
Note-This is not what you are supposed to follow, it’s just an example to give you a rough idea.
The first meal of the day is breakfast, never miss it. It should be energy-giving and should keep you full and energized until lunch. Lunch should not be as heavy as breakfast, but satiating. Then you can have some fruit around noon. Any fruits of your choosing. Before dinner, there’s another meal, it’s to satisfy those midday cravings. Then dinner should be light and don’t sleep immediately after dinner.
Here are some things which you should and should not be doing after a meal ⇉What to do (and what not to do) after a meal (That’s an FGW exclusive btw).
If you can follow a certain routine, your body will work according to this routine and will show positive results in your performance, energy, sleep, etc. Don’t believe me? Try it for a week.
I think this is a time when you sit down with pen & paper, and note down how and when you eat.
Brunch and Mid-night eating could be great occasionally, but if you are doing it regularly then you need to know that you are disrupting your internal cycle. That could affect your digestive process, appetite, might even spike blood sugar levels, cholesterol and hypertension.
FGW

This concept is not new, but not many people know about it. The idea is very simple. You eat all the good and healthy stuff 80% of the time and for the remaining 20% of the time, you eat whatever you feel like. See it like this: 80 % of the time you choose health. 20% you choose cheat meal/treat meal/ your favorite food.
This is instead an enjoyable idea because if you follow this you need not eat with guilt, you need not worry about not eating your favorite food, and you don’t need to worry about not getting results. I have seen many trainers suggesting me a diet where I have to stop eating my favorites and eat only boiled food and eat less. If you guys have forgotten, I am losing weight and I have received such suggestions a lot. Trust me I never followed that BS. Practically, it’s not feasible and fun. I am eating my favorites, but in moderation and till now I have lost _____ kg (No spoilers).
You should not punish yourself in the name of diet. If you’re eating healthy 80% of the time. The 20% is completely yours. Here we are not focusing on being perfect, we are focusing on feeling good. You can do 80-20 for a week or for a day, but do not go overboard if you want specific results. I have made some sacrifices but still eat my favorite here and there.
Note-Along with 80-20 rule, indulge yourself in the workout. Do regular exercise.

Fibers and protein are essential in the diet and must be included in the diet.
Fibers or fibres ( why there are 2 spellings -_- ) help in bowel movement, control blood sugar levels and help in lowering Mr C (Cholesterol).
Protein helps in building muscle, and bones, skin repairing, formation of new cells, tissues, regulation of hormones, and other body chemicals. It also helps in carrying oxygen to the entire body.
Eat these for a healthy and happy tummy. A happy tummy or gut means happy you.
I promise to write 2 separate blogs on protein and fibers respectively. This needs a long thesis.

When we were young our mothers always forced us to eat vegetables, but we always made faces while seeing the ugly green. Hey btw, I am still young for your kind information. Interestingly someone here on WP told me that I look older than 30. I was like WTF, I am still in my 20s.
Coming back to the blog, I was telling fruits and veggies are very important. All the essential vitamins, minerals, potassium, magnesium, fibers (No Grammarly I don’t want to correct the spelling), proteins and the rest of all the difficult names are present in fruits and veggies. It is advisable to eat a colorful diet. Dear, sir/ma’am you have various colors in fruits and veggies.
I am not giving any more reasons why F & V are important in the diet because this blog has become fairly lengthy. I need to take a break and stretch my body. In the comments tell me your favourite F and V.
After the break, I am back to reveal the answers to Brain Fun. If you haven’t participated in Brain fun, you can skip this part and head on to the comments section.
Ans 1: Kalyani is mother of Ashok.
Ans 2: The name of the horse is Friday.
Ans 3: The letter S.
Ans 4:

Ans 5: Rooster doesn’t lay eggs. However, it can, I mean changing times, we never know.
Ans 6: The word is Empty.
How many correct answers did you get? Also, tell me if you like these riddles and want more such blogs in the future.
Back to this blog (Can’t believe I hijacked my own blog :P). Let me know if you think these approaches are doable, and if you can adopt them.
Until next time, remember to smile (Well it’s not advice btw).
